The Friedrich Richter Meß werkzeugfabrik GmbH & Co KG. is a family owned company, which produces measuring equipment in the third generation. The company was founded 1920 in Eger by the grandfather of the present owner. The young company developped well in the following years and exported already to different countries in Europe and overseas during the twenties and thirties. Due to the second World War and the situation in Europe at this time the company had to be closed at its original place. After producing in different places the company finally settled down in Speichersdorf. The company was built to its present volume from 1949 to 1953. Since then the measuring equipment is produced in Speichersdorf. Besides the sales organisation in Germany - 12 agents serve the wholesalers and dealers - Richter Measuring Equipment started to to export to different countries abroad. Today Richter Measuring Equipment is a well known name for quality products not only in Germany and Europe, it is worldwide known. More than 40 countries are currently supplied with Richter Measuring Equipment.
